Just two months ago, when I'm still in school,
when Disturbia's intro doesn't necessarily become a tune for Custodio,
when Baguio doesn't always refer to Cyrus and is being dubbed as the "scariest place in the world",
when the first thing that comes to my mind when I hear "Hawaii" is "Ohana" instead of "Jared",
and when my worst nightmare is receiving a bouquet of flowers...
I eagerly anticipated for summer.
Now, two months later, when I'm stuck in this house,
when "Bonfire" doesn't always mean the camping fire,
when black is officially the hottest jersey color (refer to previous post),
when hobos don't mean the people hitching a ride on trains,
and when my worst nightmare is having braces (almost),
I don't want it to end.
So... there's only one week left before starting another 10 months of excruciating academic pain. If you're gonna be part of the ACP, then add embarrassing dares to your list. What could you do in that one week? Screw up. Be free. Do anything and everything you've wanted to. For the next 10 months of your academic life would be pretty sour.
Sacrifice. For the next 10 months I'll be experiencing sacrifice. Can't watch PBA games. Can't go online everyday. Can't laze around. Can't be goofy. Must be serious. Must study. Must work hard. Pretty much like every Third Year student.
Everything has a beginning and an end. This is the end of summer, and the beginning of another academic journey. God bless us all.
