Universal favorite team.

Yesterday, I had my haircut. From long hair to apple cut. Hmm, reminds me of childhood. I can't post a picture yet, but I think you could imagine me. Still cute. HAHA!!

Then, we went to Racks, along with some of my dad's co-workers. We brought our camera, of course. Then my brother, ever the proud fanatic, impressed me with this:

Marc: Um, excuse me, do you watch PBA?
Co-workers: Of course!!
Marc: Do you know Cyrus Baguio?
Co-worker 1: Oo! Ayoko dun dati kasi nasa Red Bull siya. (Yes! I don't like him before 'cause he's with Red Bull.)
Co-worker 2: Eh ngayon nasa Ginebra na, kaya OK siya! (But now he's with the Gin Kings so he's OK for us!)
Marc: Look! (shows the RIDICULOUS PICTURE)
Co-worker 3: Aba, ayos ah! Saan 'to? (Cool! Where'd you get this?)
Marc: Sa tapat po ng Araneta! (In front of the Araneta!)

Wow. Never thought those co-workers are solid Ginebra fans. As a Tropang Texter, I chose to be silent. Except when they talk about Cyrus. Oops.

The food was good; for someone with braces it's the best thing that can be eaten with ease. Lovin' the pork ribs. Along with java rice and baked beans. Mmm.

So we went home. While in the car, we tuned in to Sports Radio 918 to catch up on the game, TNT vs BK. I can't believe it's not yet done. But hey, at least you got to know the stats. So what's the difference between watching and listening? With listening, you use your creative mind to envision the happenings. And the commentators are creative. Why?

Take, for example, the de Ocampo brothers. Ranidel and Yancy. They're both on the same team. Aight? If the younger (Ranidel) passes it to the older (Yancy), here are the interpretations.

TV: Ranidel, passes it to the left side (Yancy), Yancy with the... OH, REJECTED!
Radio: Ranidel, pinasa kay brother, WHOA SUPALPAL!

See the diff? But of course, I must watch. And then blah blah blah... The game went to overtime. And TNT won. 135-129. Mmm, sweet victory.

That's all for now. Or is it?
