Friday was one of the greatest basketball moments of my summer life. Why? The Ginebra-Alaska bout, which was postponed due to wet court floor, was continued on Friday. Of course, I root for the Aces. I was actually hoping that Fona would kick some Skyrus butt (Twitter people, you've probably seen this line). Turns out, Skyrus kicked some Fona butt, in terms of scoring. Well...
What made the game different is that they're wearing black. I like it when they use black. Anyways. Let's skip the first three quarters. Fourth quarter, they let Fona in. I love it. I know he's desperately trying to score some threes. After four attempts, he did. "Larry Fonacier for THREEEEE!" Best four words of my night. HAHA!! So, yeah, the Gin Kings almost won. Unfortunately, Skyrus missed a shot, then Willie Miller (Almost Tito) got the ball and made a drive to the basket. Score. The Kings thought he'd call a timeout, since it's only 2 seconds. But no. Like they say, maraming namamatay sa maling akala. Wahaha.
So... they won. So happy. Oh, and here's my useless stupid unforgettable statement of the night:
LA Tenorio, I love you!!Alright. Nothing romantic. It's just said jokingly. Come on, he's like bringing the Aces to victory! And besides, he's a butiki. SORRY! And if I'm caught saying this, Fona will kill me.
