Quick Update on Fourteen Plans

Plan number 4: Take the UPCAT.

I'm almost there! August 8, 2010. 06:30 AM. National Institute of Physics.

UP, here I come! :)

Can Be, Cannot Be

Drawing made by Clio.

It's been a while (again). So, anyway...

Four years ago, I seemed to like this person. And he's not that average person. He's way beyond normal. He's my greatest rival. I do this well, he does it better. I obtain something good, he does too. But not only better. The BEST. However, he's a nice guy... A thoughtful one, I suppose. And he doesn't know that I know that he liked me.

That was four years ago.

Now, I kind of feel that I'm feeling the same feeling as before (overuse of "feel", haha). Especially since he's been acting nice again. Maybe he's supposed to be nice because of our jobs. Or maybe it's just because of his nature. Meh, I don't really know. I shouldn't feel this. I cannot feel this. Because I think he likes someone else. And that someone else is someone that I don't feel... err.

Also, I've been suffering from a recent "heartbreak", and I'm trying to recuperate. I just cannot go to school one day and convince myself that he is "the one". I don't even want him to be "the one"!

I'm so confused.
VERY confused.

Fourteen Plans on my Fourteenth Year

Yes, I'm officially fourteen years old. And incoming senior.

There are actually many things that I want to do and have, but were not done due to the fact that I'm a lazy procrastinator. And I'm young. So, below is a list of fourteen plans that I must (yes, must) accomplish before I turn fifteen. I'll post some updates (either on Facebook, Twitter, or here in FTC) whenever I finish one plan.

Here we go, fourteen plans on my fourteenth year!

FOURTEEN PLANS.
  1. Learn how to iron clothes.
Seriously, I don't know how to iron my own clothes. And now that I'm going to college soon, I must learn to be independent. That's why I want to try ironing some clothes. If my clothes get brown, er...
  2. Learn how to cook simple meals.
All that I could cook are scrambled eggs, hotdogs, and luncheon meat. I don't want to confine myself to those three. I envy some of my friends who could cook even the "complicated" kinds of food, say, carbonara, barbeque, name it. They could. I want to try to cook those things too!
  3. Try to do the laundry. I'm asserting.
Yes, I'm asserting. The only things that I wash are my underwear whenever there are menstruation stains. Please, even just for a day, make me do the laundry. Pleeease.
  4. Take UPCAT.
One of my dreams. Of course, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Er, unless I go to Ateneo on my first year, then decide to transfer to UP. I really want to accomplish this thing. And I know it will be, 'cause what's the use of reviewing for the UPCAT if I won't take it? Btw, it's on August 8.
  5. Pass UPCAT.
What would be better than taking the UPCAT? Passing it. Of course, it would be a very great honor in my part if I pass this test. Considering the facts that my parents are both UP alumni, and all of my fahter's siblings are also from UP. If I pass, I think I won't be able to stop myself from bragging. ;)
  6. Take ACET.
The second best university (of course, UP's first). Why would I let this opportunity slip through my hands? I'll apply too, and take the test. I'll never know, if I won't pass UPCAT, at least I have a savior.
  7. Pass ACET.
Of course, like the UPCAT, what's better than taking ACET? Passing it. And what's better than passing it? Passing both ACET and UPCAT. Woo!
  8. Recite the Apostle's Creed without stuttering.
From the "...suffered under Pontius Pilate..." until "...the living and the dead.", I stutter. O come on, there's so much D's in that part that I end up saying "He descended do da dead." It's kinda disturbing, actually.
  9. Watch a (insert any team other than BGK)-Coke game scheduled at 7:30 pm.
The last time I watched this live was... I don't think there's a last time.
  10. Obtain an autograph/picture with/cellphone number(!) of MCruz.
The ultimate fangirl fantasy. It would be very fulfilling if I achieve this. :">
  11. Stay at the top. And experience falling down (I'm looking at you, Physics).
Who says even smartypants can't get a D?
  12. Be active in school.
Aside from the school publication, I want to join other orgs. COMELEC (in school), steering committee, FI Youth. Oh, and try hosting some events. Great help, especially if I choose BroadComm as my course.
  13. Learn a sport.
I watch sports, not play it. And I want to get fit. Try badminton?
  14. GRADUATE.
More important that MCruz's autograph or whatsoever. More important than a PBA game. Of course, this is every senior's dream. And when I graduate, I am closer to reaching my dream. Hello, courtside reporting. Here I come.
Fourteen plans. These will be challenging.

The System and Last Night's Game

Today I found a new comic. And no, it's not Cyanide and Happiness.

As usual, I visit their site, then I look at the "Stuff We Like" section. And I saw The System. They described it as this:
Rosscott turns sign art into comic strips about life, work and how much everything sucks.
Hey, it looks interesting, I thought. So I checked it out. Yea, it's a nice one. Not nice, cool. After looking at some old comics, I found something that I could relate to, thanks to my new phone (I don't intend to brag about it, actually, I feel sore):

Click the pic to enlarge. Go try it out. Compute!

In other news, last night's game was a bummer. Coke lost to BGK, tarnishing their 3-0 record. Damn. When I came home from church last night, I saw the dreadful scores: 32-15. In favor of, yes, the Kings. Dammit. And some minutes later, they replaced Marvin Cruz with Lanete! Fuuu...ntastic~! (with a hint of sarcasm, mind you)

And since the Kings won, I have nothing left to share. Well, except the ten points I was able to ponder on while watching the game.

Coca-Cola Tigers vs Barangay Ginebra Kings (04.04.10)
    1. Oh, there's Marvin Cruz. Yay~!
    2. Lanete really looks like the Muslim drummer/puppeteer from UP's Mulat Theater. Except that he's whiter. Don't worry, I'll post something about the theater and the doppelganger.
    3. Allera = the next Fangirls' Fantasy? Yes, he has the looks, but he still can't replace James Yap. YET.
    4. I hate Ginebra.
    5. When will the Puref--este, Derby Ace Llamados play? I still am not used to their new name.
    6. Scenario: Celino Cruz (BGK) has the ball. MCruz almost got it. But no.
Me: Gumagamit din pala sila ng first names.
    7. Win the effing game, Coke!
    8. Sige, MCruz, magsama kayo ni Allera. Walang points pero may itsura. Mag-artista na lang kayo!
      *EDIT*Allera has 2 points. Hmph.
    9. Scenario: David gets angry after realizing that the "foul" wasn't counted.
TV announcer: According to Head Referee Mr. A...
Me: Siya nanaman! Daya daya daya!
    10. Wala na, talo na Coke. Hmp. At least dalawa ang gwapo. Sa inyo, isa lang.

    Such fangirl perspectives.

That's all, for now. MCMari, over and out~!

Bisita Iglesia and Campaign Propaganda (from Livelancer)

So, ito muna. Promise.

April 1, 2010. Oo, April Fool's day. At dahil diyan, Bisita Iglesia time. Pero teka, ano nga ba ito? Bibisita ka sa pitong simbahan upang mag-Way of the Cross.

Read more and comment HERE. Thanks. :D

    2.13.2010

    Ngayon lang hindi tinamad.

    Makalipas ang pitong buwan...
    Tapos na ang A(H1N1) break...
Nag-quit na ako sa ACP (take that, officers)...

First time yun, kaya nabigla ako. Sige, sabi ko, anong topic? Kahit ano raw. KAHIT ANO. Wow. Hindi restricted (The Manresan, ahem).

Ngayon, kung doon magcocontribute ako, dito rin. Susubukan ko. Friday, Saturday lang naman pwede. :)

(Ok, sorry kung magulo akong magpost ngayon. Writer's block pa rin e.)
